Bernstein’s ‘West Side Story’, an updated version of Shakespeare’s classic Romeo and Juliet, is performed by students from the School of Vocal and Operatic Studies and relocates the star-crossed lovers from Verona to New York, from feuding families to rival gangs.
This all-American tour de force is a musical masterpiece not to be missed.
